Nikki Lee (Portrait Inspiration)-Owen Sampson

    When it came to scrolling through the photos of Nikki Lee, I started to notice how bold she is when it came to being in different types of cultures that she is not part of herself especially in today's time where it either goes on the terms of appropriation and appreciation as well as the cultures that are feared. One of the pictures that spoke to me was the picture of her having her skin color changed to be darker and have braids seen bellow.

This picture would really be an issue in today as this is something this generation does not like at all bringing in the issue on whether this should be accepted or not which truly bothers me on how not only me someone that is also black but others would accept this as something that is not harmful to my community or to the others, I have talked to that would look at it as anything really bad. The biggest issue are those who are outside this culture who seem to have such an issue with something even though they are not even a part of the community and with this whole thing on whether or not it should be culture appropriation and appreciation is really just something absurd to me.

    When it came to the pictures where Cameron had dressed as a woman it came to me that it would follow along Nikki's style in her photos as he would show off a side that is frowned in other places and not just in America but outside of it as he does not shy away of doing such a thing.
